Authorities have disclosed the identities of the two males who lost their lives after being thrown from their vehicle in an accident on Interstate 80 earlier this week in Monroe County.
As stated by Monroe County Coroner Thomas A. Yanac, the deceased were Adam Lander, 25, hailing from Cranberry, and Nathaniel Durell, 32, from Franklin. They were declared dead at the scene following the incident that occurred on Route 80 in Tunkhannock Township on January 5.
The coroner indicated that both individuals succumbed to injuries caused by blunt force, and their deaths have been classified as accidental.
Pennsylvania State Police revealed that the vehicle veered off the road for still undetermined reasons, descended an embankment, and collided with a tree. During the impact, both Lander and Durell were thrown from the vehicle.
The Pennsylvania State Police are actively looking into the details pertaining to the accident.
