Joshua Blick, 48, owner of the Automobilia Moonlight Carshow & Street Party and Wichita Tire Store, tragically died in a rollover crash Friday night in Wichita, Kansas.
The accident occurred around 11:11 p.m. on December 26, 2025, in the 5100 block of South West Street near 47th Street South. First responders, including the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, Wichita Fire Department, and county EMS, found a black Chevrolet SS that had veered off the roadway, failed to navigate a curve, and rolled multiple times.
The driver, 47-year-old Joseph Perry Davidson, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Blick, a passenger, was also thrown from the vehicle, rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but later succumbed to his injuries. A third passenger, a 44-year-old man from Wichita, sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. Authorities indicated that speed and alcohol were likely contributing factors in the crash.
Blick was remembered as a dedicated father, husband, and community leader, and for his significant contributions to Wichita’s car culture through events like the Automobilia Moonlight Carshow. Friends and local car enthusiasts have expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
A GoFundMe campaign was launched to support Blick’s family during this difficult time, seeking $9,000 to help cover expenses and provide support as they cope with the loss. The fundraiser highlights Blick’s impact on the community and the void his sudden death has left.
