At around 6:05 a.m., Aaron was heading east on U.S. Highway 54, slightly east of County Road 9 by 0.1 mile, when a disturbing sequence of events unfolded that irrevocably impacted those who cherished him.

At the age of 26 and hailing from Liberal, Aaron was behind the wheel of a 2017 Chevy Silverado when his truck veered over the fog line to the shoulder on the eastbound side, colliding with a vehicle that was stationary. That vehicle departed prior to law enforcement's arrival and has not been identified as of now. Aaron sustained life-threatening injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
