Woodward Park Incident – Fatality: Identity Revealed of Unnamed Male from Fresno, CA Who Passed Away by Hanging

 Authorities are looking into the death of a man discovered in Woodward Park on Friday morning.


As reported by the Fresno Police Department, officers were summoned to the northern section of the park, located just west of Friant Road, after a jogger found an unresponsive individual and alerted the police. Officers and medical personnel arrived at the scene and declared the individual deceased.

Officials have stated that the death is under investigation and is currently thought to be a suicide. However, the inquiry is ongoing as officers aim to verify the details surrounding the situation. At this moment, no further information has been provided.

Due to the ongoing investigation, Woodward Street adjacent to the park was momentarily shut off to the public. Authorities have requested that both residents and visitors steer clear of the immediate vicinity during the examination of the scene.
