Woodrow Wilson High School Fatal Shooting

As law enforcement sealed the grounds and started their inquiry, students inside the high school, which sits just across from the park, were locked down. Authorities stressed that the lockout was a preventative action as personnel tried to guarantee the safety of students and employees.

Footage taken from a police helicopter showed students at J.J. Long Middle School, next to Woodrow Wilson High, being let out early. As parents and guardians lingered to collect their kids, the discharge caused considerable traffic congestion in the region.

Around a little black four-door car parked near a huge white trailer in the park's parking area, many police teams were spotted. Police verified their probe targets the region close the car, which is thought to be related to the shooting incident close to the Santa Fe Trail.

At the moment, no more information about the hospitalized person's condition or possible suspects has been made public. Authorities are still looking into the scene and have advised the public against approaching it during police activity.
