The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Joshua was driving a gray 2003 Toyota Camry southwest along South Telegraph Road when, for reasons that are still being looked into, the car veered off the road and into a ditch. The vehicle continued down the ditch before colliding with a tree, an impact severe enough to cause Joshua to be thrown from the car. Following this, the Toyota spun, flipped over, and came back onto the roadway, ultimately resting on its side. Despite the prompt arrival of emergency responders, Joshua was declared dead at the scene.
