Officials have confirmed the victim’s identity as Cali Agent, who was struck by a car on Monday evening, December 15, close to the crossing of Hearne Avenue and Regent Street, just south of Interstate 20 in the Midway vicinity of the city. Emergency responders arrived at the location around 5:30 p.m.

As stated by the Shreveport Police Department, Cali sustained critical injuries and was taken to the hospital. Despite the medical team’s efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at around 6:04 p.m. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has been informed.

At least six medical teams from the Shreveport Fire Department and nearly eight police units were sent to the scene. The details surrounding the accident are still being investigated.

Cali’s mother, Autumn Cherie Agent, revealed that her daughter had celebrated her 14th birthday just two weeks prior to her passing. Cali was an honor student in the eighth grade at Magnolia School of Excellence. Affectionately referred to as “Kitty,” she was remembered as a bright, kind young girl with a profound passion for animals, particularly cats. Additionally, she was an enthusiastic admirer of KPop Demon Hunters.

Friends, family, and classmates are honoring Cali’s memory as a lively young girl whose life ended far too soon. Her passing has created an immense void in the hearts of those who cherished her.

While the inquiry remains ongoing, the community is uniting in prayer and remembrance, supporting Cali’s family during this exceedingly challenging time.
