California's Hot Springs in the Desert Alvin Cunningham, 47, of Menifee, was killed in a horrific single-vehicle crash near Desert Hot Springs on Monday afternoon, according to the County Coroner's office.
The deadly crash happened on Interstate 10 at the Indian Canyon Dr. off-ramp on September 8 at around 1:45 p.m.
For an apparent reason, Cunningham's vehicle veered off the off-ramp and onto the barrier wall, according to CHP. When the automobile caught fire, Cunningham sustained multiple serious injuries.
According to reports, Cunningham was taken out almost an hour later and sent to a trauma facility, where he was pronounced dead.
