She is survived by her siblings—Matthew Bardin ’83 (Mo Ogrodnik), Joseph Bardin ’85, and Jacob Bardin (Donna)—as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, who were integral to her life: Benjamin Bardin ’08 (Rebecca Miller), Tamar Bardin ’11 (Jon Dutko), Rina Bardin ’14 (Noah Gorstein), Dove Bardin, and Zibia Bardin. Her absence is deeply felt across various generations of the Bardin family.
Funeral Arrangements
The funeral service for Sarah Bardin will be held on Wednesday, December 3 in New Jersey, where friends and family will come together to commemorate her life and lay her to rest.
Shiva Information

A Life of Creativity and Artistic Passion
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sarah Bardin was an artist who taught herself and whose artistry resonated with many. She predominantly utilized acrylics on canvas, with floral themes being her hallmark. She also had a gift for portrait painting and fulfilled numerous commissioned projects throughout the years.
Her work has received international recognition, including features in Présence Féminine Dans L’Art Haïtien (The Presence of Women in Haitian Art), which highlighted her distinctive artistic expression.
Sarah lived in Washington, DC, where she pursued her artistic endeavors while maintaining strong ties with her family and friends.
