John's cause of death is still unknown, although he passed away suddenly. Even though his passing leaves a permanent void in our hearts, his love, presence, and legacy will never fade.
John had many close relationships, love, and happiness throughout his life. His ability to make everyone around him feel appreciated, welcomed, and acknowledged was quite astounding. Whether he was grilling a meal, teaching on the tennis court, fishing or cycling with friends, or simply enjoying music and a good beer, John brought people together with dignity and sincerity. He literally and figuratively made room at the table for everyone, and those who were sat there felt not only fed but also inspired and, for the most part, entertained.
John was a Tallahassee native and a dedicated community supporter. His life revolved around intimate relationships and minor joys. As a neighbor, mentor, coworker, or father, he firmly believed in supporting others. Along with his cherished family, he leaves behind a wide range of friends and acquaintances who were impacted by his easygoing manner, trustworthy presence, and generous attitude.

Everyone who knew and loved John is welcome to attend. The family invites guests to bring their memories, love, and laughter to this gathering.
As a parent to be proud of and a friend to be grateful for, John Vinson was a man whose life was a gift to all of us. Even as we grieve deeply, we celebrate a life well-lived, one full of humor, connection, and a lasting legacy of kindness.
