A quiet Tuesday morning in Brick Township turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when 15-year-old Mueller Jackson, a freshman at Brick Memorial High School, was killed while riding his bicycle to school. Authorities said the crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. near the intersection of Lanes Mill Road and Rhode Island Avenue, close to Brick Memorial High School. Investigators reported that Jackson was riding his bicycle through a marked crosswalk when a 2021 BMW traveling at a high rate of speed struck him.
