Chase Harris Cole of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away tragically on April 26, 2026, at the age of 25. His life, though far too short by earthly measure, was a radiant and powerful testament to love, friendship, and unwavering faith, leaving a lasting legacy that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him in Palm Beach County and far beyond. Chase lived with an intensity of joy that made 25 years feel like a lifetime of impact.
A proud 2019 graduate of William T. Dwyer High School, Chase pursued his passions with natural curiosity and drive through studies at Palm Beach State College and later at Istituto Marangoni Miami, where his creativity, eye for detail, and appreciation for design truly flourished. He approached learning the same way he approached life itself, with enthusiasm, excellence, humility, and a desire to grow, making friends in every classroom and leaving professors impressed by his work ethic.
For years, Chase dedicated himself professionally to property and household management for a private family on Singer Island, a role in which he showcased remarkable professionalism, trustworthiness, maturity beyond his years, and tireless dedication. He took pride in doing every job well, big or small. Recently, he embraced a new calling that fit his heart perfectly, coaching at Spencer's Sports & Skills, where he inspired and mentored young athletes in both lacrosse and basketball with patience, encouragement, and joy.
Chase's deep and lifelong love for basketball, whether passionately watching his beloved Miami Heat, playing competitive pickup games at sunset with friends, or patiently coaching fundamentals to wide-eyed kids, was matched only by his commitment to physical fitness, his growing passion for golf, and his simple love of beach days with friends and family along Florida's beautiful Atlantic coast. He found God in movement, in teamwork, and in the ocean breeze.
Chase's vibrant personality and genuinely kind spirit made him a true beacon of joy in every room he entered. Known for his warm, ever-present smile, his caring and empathetic heart, and his bold, unashamed, and authentic faith in Jesus Christ, he invested wholeheartedly in others without expecting anything in return. His faith was not quiet, it was lived out loud in how he loved people.
He poured intentional, thoughtful love into his relationships in ways few do. He never forgot a birthday, never passed a friend in the hallway or on the street without stopping for a sincere hug and real conversation, and he always had the unique gift of meeting people exactly where they were in life, with grace, without judgment, and with encouragement. His ability to connect across ages and backgrounds left a profound and lasting impact on his entire community.
He is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Lisa and Brewster Cole, his cherished brothers, Shaw and Colin, his beloved grandparents Rudy Schupp, Marika and Howard Stone, and Harriet Cole, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, teammates, students, and extended loved ones who adored him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Susan Schupp, paternal grandfather G. Brewster Cole, and maternal grandfather William S. Cohen, who we believe welcomed him home.
A heartfelt celebration of Chase's remarkable life will be held at First Presbyterian Church North Palm Beach, 717 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL, on Saturday, May 2, at 2:00 pm. All who loved Chase are invited to join in honoring his memory, sharing stories, laughing, crying, and celebrating the gift he was. We find deep comfort in knowing Chase is now with Jesus, reunited with loved ones who went before him, and more alive than ever in paradise. In this time of loss, we cherish the outpouring of love. Chase's spirit lives on in the hearts of all he touched, reminding us daily that love never ends and that we will be reunited in eternity.
