According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash occurred just after 11 a.m. Wednesday along Highway 4 near the Twin Lakes area in Calhoun County. The charter bus carrying the Iowa Lakes baseball team, including players, coaches, and staff, veered off the roadway and rolled into a ditch. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene to find 33 occupants, all of whom sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
