Malcolm Wayne Lee Obituary — 25-Year-Old Houston Resident Dies in Fatal Hufsmith Kohrville Road Shooting
Harris County authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred overnight in the 24700 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road. The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Malcolm Wayne Lee.
Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the scene and found Lee unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Investigators say a suspect fled into a wooded area before deputies arrived. The individual was later identified as 24-year-old Emily Rose Seeman. Following a coordinated search and investigation by HCSO Crime Scene Investigators and Homicide detectives, Seeman was charged with murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.
Authorities reported that Lee and Seeman had previously been in a dating relationship. On the night of the shooting, Lee had arrived with his new girlfriend to visit a friend, and a confrontation between him and Seeman escalated, ultimately resulting in the fatal shooting.
The investigation remains active as deputies continue to gather evidence and verify the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
