Hallie Marie Tobler, 22, Found Dead in St. Cloud Apartment; Husband Expected to Face Charges

 St. Cloud police are investigating a suspected homicide after a 22-year-old woman was found deceased inside a locked apartment Saturday night, while a man believed to be her husband was discovered nearby with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have identified the victim as Hallie Marie Tobler, 22, of St. Cloud, who died as a result of multiple stab wounds. The injured man has been identified as Dylan Michael Tobler, 23, Hallie’s husband.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 8:20 p.m. to the 3100 block of 40th Avenue South following a report of a medical emergency. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they located Hallie deceased inside the apartment. Dylan was found inside the residence as well, suffering from what investigators believe are self-inflicted injuries.

Emergency responders transported Dylan to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. Authorities have stated that once he is medically cleared, he is expected to be booked into the Stearns County Jail on suspicion of charges related to the homicide.

Police confirmed that the couple was married and that both individuals were found inside their locked apartment. At this time, officials have emphasized that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
