The Monroe Police Department reports that around 2:30 a.m. officers answered a call for a shot in the 100 block of GW Carver Drive. They found an adult woman with deadly bullet wounds when they got there. Jadah Aeriona was declared dead at the scene despite attempts at emergency response. During the same occurrence, an adult male also sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where he is getting medical care.
