Abraham Corrall Yuma, Arizona Motorcycle Accident

Deputies arrived at around 9:24 p.m. in response to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle accident at the crossing of West County 14th Street and South Avenue B, according to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office. Investigators found on arrival that a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe, heading north on Avenue B, crashed into the rear of a 2014 Honda CR-V following behind. The operator of the motorbike was thrown off onto the road and suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact.

Rural Metro Fire swiftly answered to the site and both drivers were taken to Onvida Health for treatment. The Honda CR-V's driver suffered minor injuries. Regrettably, Abraham Corral, the Harley-Davidson operator later recognized as Abraham Corral, passed from his wounds despite medical attention.

Abraham Corral, 34, leaves behind grieving family members now confronting an unfathomable loss. He was a son, a friend, a family member, and a loved member of the Yuma community—not just a motorcyclist who had an accident. His death is a terrible reminder of how fast life can change and how priceless every moment really is.

Officials have said that next of kin have been informed and that the case is now being looked into. Officials pointed out that the collision could have been caused at least in part by speed. The Yuma County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone having knowledge about this event to step forward to assist in clarifying and knowing what transpired.
