Growing up in West Kelowna, Lexi had a loving family who pushed her to follow her passions and interact with her surroundings.She enjoyed reading, drawing, painting, and interacting with animals since she was a creative and observant soul.She particularly enjoyed shot put track and field and skiing.Still, her real passions were shopping and sleep.
Lexi found great pleasure in the basic enchantment of youth.Along with perfumes and all skincare goods, she adored teddy bears, bows, and cherries.The light and calm character she possessed drew her to the humorous inventiveness.In many ways an old soul, Lexi displayed a quiet knowledge beyond her age.Knowing the value of family, she gave her younger sister, Harley, particular attention by cooking for her, spending time together, and displaying early indicators of a caring, maternal heart.
Her death tears apart her family.Her parents, Ryan and Courtney; brother Max (and his father Adam); sister Harley; grandparents Dwight, Maxine, and Barb; aunts Tara (Joey) and Tennille (Jonathan); uncles Chris (Andrea) and Ben (Tasha); cousins Jordan, Jake, Denver, Bentley, Presley, Rex, and baby Sophia; and special dogs Moose and River.Grandfather Ivor, great-grandmother Donie, and uncle Josh predeceased Lexi.
Emotions can be fragile and easily overwhelmed among the creativity, curiosity, and endless energy of young people.Young hearts feel intensely, frequently without the language or tools to completely represent their challenges.Keep in mind the tenderness of childhood and the need of empathy, understanding, and careful listening to the silent conflicts that could be unnoticed.
Lexi will be remembered for her love so openly given, her kindness, and her invention.Her death creates a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her, and she will be remembered near forever.
