Tyler Penasse, also known as Tyler Pellerin-Penasse, was a beloved member of the West Nipissing community who was well-known for his kind nature, passionate love of family, and loyalty to his friends. Everyone who knew Tyler will feel the void left by his life being cruelly taken at the age of 25.
Tyler was renowned for his work ethic and commitment to his loved ones. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a neighbor, making someone laugh on a bad day, or simply being there when they needed him most, Tyler was a consistent and compassionate presence to everyone around him. Both family and friends recognized his unique attributes of persistence and willpower.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoyed spending time outside and admiring the stunning landscapes of Northern Ontario. He loved spending time with his loved ones, friends, and the little joys that came from living life to the fullest. His genuine heart and warmth made him dependable.
On September 15, 2025, Tyler was tragically discovered dead in a remote area along Hardy Lake Road. The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating his death, and his family is calling for justice to be served in his honor.
In addition to mourning this terrible loss, the community is coming together to celebrate Tyler's life, his joy, and their shared love. Tyler's family and friends are urging anyone with information about his death to come forward and assist the police so that Tyler can receive the justice he deserves.
