Amanda Caruso: Age 28 Obituary, New York Unfortunately the resident died.

We regret to notify you of the passing of our beloved Amanda Caruso, who was 28 years old when she died on September 9, 2025. Amanda's life was far too short, but it was full of love, tenacity, and an incredible determination to live life to the fullest in spite of all the challenges.

In addition to her mother, Janice Roback Caruso, and father, Steven Caruso, Amanda is also survived by her devoted siblings, Karli, Leeanna, and Trevor Caruso; her fiancé, Matthew Henning, who was her true love; her Nana, Stephanie Roback; her future in-laws, Michael Henning Jr. and Noreen Henning (who recently passed away); and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her very much.

Everyone who knew Amanda was affected, despite her severe health problems. After being diagnosed with a rare lung disease at a young age, Amanda received a life-saving double lung transplant at the age of 17 months. Because of this invaluable gift, she had a better life for many years and never took anything for granted. When Amanda's health began to decline again, she courageously made the decision to pursue a second lung transplant, displaying the same strength and determination that she had shown throughout her life.

Along the process, Amanda accomplished a number of notable accomplishments. She continued her schooling after graduating from Webster Thomas High School in 2014. She later graduated from Continental School of Beauty with a license as an esthetician, earned an associate's degree in health information technology from Monroe Community College, and most recently earned her accreditation as an oncology data specialist. Amanda has dedicated her life to meaningful work since she started working at Bill Gray's Restaurant when she was fifteen years old. At Unity Hospital, Hand and Stone Spa, and most recently, Rochester Regional Health, she worked as a surgical coordinator and a data entry expert for the Cancer Tumor Registry.

In addition to her career, Amanda was a driven entrepreneur who ran Tiny Woman Creations, a successful handcrafted jewelry business, for more than two years. Her work was much appreciated, and her creativity and entrepreneurial zeal were clear to see. She also loved sharing updates on her life and health struggles on social media, where thousands of people were moved by her strength, positivity, and unwavering faith. Fans applauded Amanda's bravery and candor, especially when she talked about her struggles awaiting her second lung transplant.

Even though Amanda's life was cut short, her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. She was a true source of joy and love, a lighthouse, and an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her boundless optimism, humor, and warmth
