According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 15-year-old Escarleth Vasquez and her young son, Alejandro Vasquez, were last seen on May 9, 2026, after leaving their residence in the 7000 block of Phoenix Path at approximately 3 p.m. Officials said neither returned home, prompting an active missing persons investigation.

Law enforcement officials believe both children may be in grave or immediate danger, leading to the issuance of the Amber Alert. Authorities have not publicly disclosed the specific circumstances behind that determination, but investigators continue to treat the case with heightened urgency due to the age of both missing individuals and the length of time since they were last seen.

Escarleth Vasquez is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray pants. Alejandro Vasquez, who is just 1 year old, is described as approximately 2 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 27 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing all-black clothing. Due to his young age, authorities remain especially concerned about his health and safety.

Investigators believe Escarleth and Alejandro may be traveling in a red pickup truck. At this time, law enforcement has not released the vehicle’s make, model, year, or license plate number.
