Fatal Dispute at Ramona-Mathison Lake Park Ends in Shooting Death of Lamonte Keys as Devion Sneed Faces Multiple Felony Charges

 A birthday gathering in Berkeley turned into a scene of tragedy Thursday evening when gunfire erupted at a public park, leaving one man dead and three women injured, according to authorities. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged 25-year-old Devion Sneed with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, stealing a firearm, and multiple counts of armed criminal action following the deadly shooting that shocked the community. Prosecutors say the charges reflect the severity of the incident and the number of victims involved, as investigators continue building their case.

Authorities identified the victim as 24-year-old Lamonte Keys, who was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck during the exchange of gunfire.
