According to the New York State Police, the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Route 22, just south of Butternut Road in the town of Richfield. Investigators say Faubert was traveling southbound when her vehicle suddenly left the roadway for reasons that remain unclear before striking a tree with significant force.
Authorities confirmed that Faubert was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and officials have not yet determined what caused her to veer off the road, leaving unanswered questions as the investigation continues.
