The vehicle continued westbound as Garcia attempted to navigate the turn, ultimately striking the top of a guardrail and coming to rest in Coulbourn Mill Pond. Two passengers were also in the vehicle: 18-year-old Andy Fon Koh of Takoma Park, Maryland, who was flown to a shock trauma center, and 18-year-old Eyuael Zewdie of Washington, D.C., who was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
