MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a tragic motorcycle crash that claimed the life of Allen Wayne Hunt, 62, of Lake Havasu City, on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Deputies responded around 11:45 a.m. to reports of a motorcycle that had left the roadway near milepost 11 on Route 66. According to officials, Hunt was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash. Emergency medical personnel arrived quickly and provided aid before he was flown to a Las Vegas hospital. Despite efforts to save him, Hunt later succumbed to his injuries.
