Bloomington Teen Mariah Kletz Found Dead; Family Demands Justice in Mysterious Case

Bloomington police were called to a residence on Canada Lane around 10:46 a.m. after reports of a cardiac arrest. Paramedics from the Bloomington Fire Department attempted life-saving measures, but Mariah was pronounced dead at 11:40 a.m. by the McLean County Coroner’s Office. Preliminary investigations indicate there is no ongoing threat to the public, but the circumstances surrounding her death remain under active review by detectives and the coroner.

Family members have expressed deep grief and outrage. Mariah’s aunt, Hailey Nelson, posted on social media describing her niece as “murdered brutally, beaten to d*ath,” calling for a thorough investigation and justice for the teen.
