Beloved 14-Year-Old Nathan Thomas Snyder Dies in I-69 Pedestrian Crash

 The Newburgh community is mourning the tragic loss of Nathan Thomas Snyder, a 14-year-old whose promising life was cut short in a fatal pedestrian crash early Monday morning. According to the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office, Nathan was struck on Interstate 69 near the Covert Avenue exit, around the 4.8-mile marker at approximately 1:16 a.m.

Deputies were first called for a report of someone walking in the roadway, followed by another call indicating a pedestrian had been hit. Despite the quick response, Nathan succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy has been completed, with results pending.
