On February 20, Napa County deputies discovered Singh’s body near Lake Berryessa, roughly 100 miles north of Tracy, alongside the abandoned white SUV. San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow indicated that Singh was likely not the intended target, suggesting the abduction may have been a botched attempt or case of mistaken identity.
