The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has named Zay’vion Ni Seah Dajour Jackson, an 18-year-old from Macon, as the individual arrested in relation to the deadly shooting that took place on Friday night, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Dantwan Wynes on Hardwick Drive.

As reported by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the incident transpired amid a reported gunfight on the 400 block of Hardwick Drive Friday night. Investigators have indicated that Wynes sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds during the confrontation and was subsequently declared dead due to his injuries.

Violent Crime Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office worked diligently throughout the night to ascertain the identities of those involved in the event. Authorities confirmed that Zay’vion Jackson was later recognized as a suspect. According to investigators, Jackson was brought to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Headquarters by relatives.

After additional inquiries and questioning, Jackson was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where formal charges were filed against him. Officials stated that Zay’vion Ni Seah Dajour Jackson is facing multiple serious allegations, including an attempted armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault, and felony murder. He is currently being held without the opportunity for bond.
