Phoenix Police Department officers were summoned to a home close to Interstate 17 and Bell Road, in the 2900 block of West Woolridge Drive, just before 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, upon an unknown disturbance report.When they got here, they found a depressing and terrible picture.
Sam Ertebati and a female victim, both shot, were found within the house by police.Fast response by emergency medical personnel notwithstanding all attempts, both victims were proclaimed dead at the scene.Those who knew and loved Sam have been greatly disturbed by the death of life under so quick and intense circumstances.
Authorities subsequently confirmed the double lethal shooting (GSW x2).Although Sam Ertebati has been officially identified, officials are carefully and respectfully alerting next of kin and have not yet made public the identity of the second victim.
