He maintained a close relationship with Olivet and was a valued member of Mu Omega Pi, a brotherhood that held significant meaning for him. After his passing, one of his advisors shared a heartfelt tribute, recognizing Maurice as a Comet forever and commemorating his determination, accomplishments, and dedication to his fraternity.
