Keithlin Royster, from Kansas City, Missouri, has been recognized as the individual who lost his life due to a road rage episode.
Authorities have named the individual who died in a shooting on a prominent roadway in Kansas City as Keithlin Royster, an adult male believed to have been killed in what may have been an incident related to road rage.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported that officers were sent to the vicinity of 71 Highway and Blue River Road just prior to 11:20 a.m. after they received notifications of gunfire. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Royster inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot injuries. He was declared deceased at the location.
Initial assessments suggest that the shooting could have originated from a confrontation related to road rage, although investigators have mentioned that it is not yet clear where the event started or the factors that culminated in the lethal confrontation.
