Based on reports from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on I-85 going south, just before Exit 48B/A in Greenville County. Officials stated that multiple 9-1-1 calls came in, reporting a pedestrian hit by a car in the road.

Officials found that Donnie Bisco Todd, a Union County resident, was standing in the road when a vehicle going south struck him. First responders came quickly and tried to save his life, but despite their attempts, paramedics declared Todd dead at the site at 7:11 p.m.
