A significant emergency response occurred outside Willesden Magistrates’ Court in northwest London on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, following the death of a man after a series of violent events that included a stabbing and a collision involving multiple vehicles.
Emergency responders were alerted to Chapel Close, adjacent to the courthouse, shortly after 12:40 PM. Initial reports from the scene indicated that a man sustained stab wounds and was later hit by a car in what investigators suspect may be a targeted attack linked to gang activity. Despite extensive efforts by medical personnel, the victim was declared dead at the scene.
Observers described scenes of chaos near the courthouse, as a crowd gathered while police secured the perimeter with barriers. One damaged vehicle was present, surrounded by emergency responders as officers created a large crime scene for investigation.
Some eyewitness testimonies suggested that an individual exited the court building and attacked several people with a knife before the crash took place. However, police have yet to verify this information, and the chain of events is currently under investigation.

The London Ambulance Service reported they received an alert at 12:41 PM about a traffic accident involving several vehicles at the intersection of Chapel Close and Chantry Crescent, NW10.
A representative of the LAS stated:
“Our team dispatched an ambulance crew, paramedics in rapid response vehicles, and an incident response officer. Additionally, London’s Air Ambulance was sent to the scene. Tragically, despite the diligent efforts of our teams, a person was declared dead at the location.”
The London Fire Brigade confirmed that they were summoned at 12:49 PM and responded with one fire engine from Willesden's station.
“Firefighters were called to a collision that involved several vehicles on Chapel Close in Willesden,” the Brigade stated.
Investigation by Authorities in Progress
Multiple police vehicles, vans, and specialized units were observed arriving at the scene, with police tape enclosing the entire area. Officers established a significant crime scene, and investigators are working to clarify the full details, including the stabbing of as many as five individuals before the deadly collision.
