he served as a wellspring of joy, enthusiasm, support, and steadfast loyalty. Those close to him recall his presence as captivating, a warm light that effortlessly attracted others and made them feel appreciated. His absence has left family and friends in a state of sorrow, seeking solace amidst the difficult quiet that follows.

A Man of Purpose, Passion, and Boundless Heart

Drew approached life with fervor—whether he was working, with family, or simply relishing a day in nature. In his career, he gained satisfaction and pride within the construction and safety sector, particularly during his time of three years at Baker Construction. His dedication to ensuring the safety of others epitomized his essence: reliable, industrious, and profoundly caring. His role with the Fire Department showcased his commitment to service, which he fulfilled with integrity and respect.

Beyond his professional commitments, Drew savored every instant with happiness. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, dancing, and singing off-key to any tune that was playing, particularly while barbecuing for his loved ones. An ardent LSU supporter, he exuberantly participated in game days, tailgates, and crawfish boils. Traveling brought him immense joy, with Miramar Beach being his favorite retreat—his perfect spot for relaxation, rejuvenation, and enjoying life.

However, it was his personal connections that truly defined his identity. Drew held a profound love for his wife, Mallory, a love that was radiant. He treasured his dogs, Opie and Sis, who were his constant companions. He was a friend to everyone he met, a brother who filled family gatherings with warmth, and a man whose vibrant energy filled any space with laughter. His adventurous nature, magnanimous heart, and sincere kindness made a lasting impression.

Holding Tight to Memories, Honoring a Legacy That Lives On

Drew is survived by a heartbroken family: his devoted wife Mallory; his mother Timberly; his father Darren; his siblings Trey and Eric; his grandparents; and a large extended family of uncles, cousins, and in-laws who loved him dearly. He has now reunited with his grandparents, Nana Carolyn, Pa Paw Gary, and Pa Paw Roland, who had passed away before him.

In light of this tragedy, Drew’s family has requested that friends and loved ones honor his legacy not through flowers, but by engaging in an activity he cherished: playing a round of golf. This serves as a tender reminder that happiness, even amidst sorrow, can be a celebration of a life well-lived.
