The community of Miami, Oklahoma is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 29-year-old Taylor S. Williams, who died on Wednesday night after a tragic car accident on a remote road in Ottawa County. As per the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 9:45 p.m. on County Road 137, roughly 500 feet south of East 93 Road. Taylor was heading south when, for reasons still being determined, his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a commercial truck driven by 38-year-old Donna Helms from Girard, Kansas. The collision impacted the driver's side of Helms' truck. Taylor sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene despite the quick response from emergency personnel. Helms was injured in the accident and was taken for medical care.
