The collision happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. when, as reported by Maryland State Police, a dump truck traveling north crossed over the double yellow line in the 3000 block of Littlestown Pike and struck Sandra’s maroon 2017 Dodge Ram directly. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, but Sandra was declared dead at the scene. The dump truck operator did not sustain any injuries, and the inquiry into the incident is still in progress.
