The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 33-year-old Sache Brown from Charleston, confirming her identity after her family had been informed. This tragic event has left the community in sorrow and has initiated a detailed investigation by law enforcement and environmental response units.

As reported by the North Charleston Police Department, the accident took place during the late morning when a vehicle coming from the Goose Creek area unexpectedly lost control on a heavily traveled road. Investigators indicated that the car crossed over the center line into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with a westbound commercial truck. The impact was catastrophic. Despite the rapid response from emergency personnel, Brown—who was operating the smaller vehicle—was declared dead at the scene due to her severe injuries.
