The town of Charleston, Missouri is in deep sadness over the unexpected and heartbreaking death of Rontavious Clark, a 29-year-old resident of Charleston, who was killed in a shooting that happened early in the morning of December 17, 2025, on Oliver Street, specifically in the 300 block. Law enforcement officials reported that officers went to the location after receiving calls about shots being fired at about 1:00 a.m., and then a subsequent call confirmed that someone had been shot.
When they arrived, officers found Clark, who had suffered a gunshot injury near 309 Oliver Street. He was quickly taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital to receive urgent medical care. Sadly, despite the medical team's best attempts, Clark could not survive his injuries and was declared deceased.
