Parkdale High School Deadly Stabbing: Lockdown Canceled Following Separate Event in Prince George’s County

 Parkdale High School located in Riverdale, Maryland, experienced a temporary lockdown on Thursday morning due to what authorities described as "a single stabbing incident." Officials confirmed that a suspect has been apprehended.

Prince George’s County Public Schools issued a short statement around 9:55 a.m., indicating that the facility was on lockdown and all students and staff were secure and staying in their classrooms.

According to the statement, one student was transported to a hospital for assessment “and did not suffer any injuries that were life-threatening.”

The lockdown was ended at 10:40 a.m., according to school representatives.
