Oscar Pedro Salazar Traffic Incident: Family and loved ones honor the memory of 33-year-old Oscar Pedro Salazar, who tragically lost his life in a deadly accident in Tucson.

The Tucson community is mourning the death of Oscar Pedro Salazar, age 33, who sadly died on Sunday afternoon in a deadly vehicle accident. Salazar was declared deceased at the accident site after a collision near the intersection of South Sixth Avenue and East Michigan Drive at approximately 3 p.m. on December 7, leaving his family, friends, and neighbors in profound grief.

As reported by the Tucson Police Department, Salazar was behind the wheel of his Hyundai Elantra, heading east on Michigan Drive when he moved from a stop sign and was hit by a Ford Mustang that was traveling north on Sixth Avenue. Witnesses and evidence collected at the site suggested that the Mustang was exceeding the legal speed limit. The driver of the Mustang stayed at the location and underwent an evaluation by a police officer, who found that they were not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.

Traffic detectives later concluded that the excessive speed of the Mustang was the main cause of the crash. Salazar, described lovingly by those close to him as a caring and lively person, left this world far too early, creating a gap in the lives of all who knew and cherished him.

Currently, authorities have not filed any charges or issued any citations, and the investigation is still in progress. Officials are asking anyone who may have information regarding the accident to reach out to the Tucson Police Department or anonymously call 88-CRIME.

Family and friends are honoring Oscar Pedro Salazar for the happiness, warmth, and generosity he extended to everyone he encountered. Although his life was tragically ended too soon, the memories of his existence and the influence he had on his community will persist. The Tucson community continues to grieve his premature departure and expresses sympathies to all affected by this tragic event.
