Officer Bryan Zapp CCSD Notice of Passing Reason for Death: Harley’s Previous Softball Mentor and Law Enforcement Officer, Veteran, Officer Bryan Zapp
It is with deep sorrow that we relay the information about the demise of CCSD Officer Bryan Zapp. Officer Zapp represented much more than just a welcoming smile—he was a wellspring of happiness for countless individuals.
During the previous academic year, we had the privilege of having Officer Zapp participate in a few of our BGSA Character Greetings. He enthusiastically engaged in the festivities—taking pictures, having fun with the characters, and providing support to those bashful students who required a bit more encouragement to connect with their beloved princesses and superheroes. His involvement transformed ordinary experiences into memorable occasions.
We are extremely fortunate to have basked in the joy, compassion, and positivity that Officer Zapp exuded wherever he traveled. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and the entire CCSD community as we navigate through this sorrowful period.
With profound sadness, I wish to inform those who may not be aware that Bryan William Zapp, a former softball coach for Harley, who was a police officer, a veteran, and an exceptional father to his daughter, Kyndal, who was a friend of Harley, has passed away.
Recently, he and I developed a wonderful friendship, and I genuinely find myself speechless regarding how heartbreaking this news is. We have lost an extraordinary individual by his passing, and it is important that we all take a moment to honor his memory and consider ways to support his family during this time.
