Nancy Feighan Lakewood Ohio Funeral Arrangements: Community Advocate and Leader in Social Services Passes Away

 The City of Lakewood, alongside the North Coast Irish community, is in sorrow over the passing of Nancy Feighan, a valued member of the City of Lakewood Department of Human Services and a long-standing civic figure. Feighan departed last month, leaving a significant legacy in public service, leadership, and community engagement.


Nancy Feighan was an experienced program manager known for her considerable skills in starting, planning, and carrying out intricate projects and strategic initiatives that are essential for the success of organizations. During her career, she significantly contributed to the creation and execution of the tourism initiative for University Circle and directed several important workforce development and outreach initiatives at Cuyahoga Community College, where her efforts enhanced access to education and job opportunities for many individuals.

Her dedication to serving the community stemmed from her professional background as well as personal enthusiasm. Feighan attended Tiffin University and Cuyahoga Community College, experiences that ultimately influenced her commitment to public service and workforce development.

In addition to her professional achievements, Feighan was seen as a vital member of both Lakewood and the North Coast Irish community, where she was cherished for her leadership qualities, kindness, and relentless participation in civic and cultural activities.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 26, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Berry McGreevey Funeral Home, situated at 26691 Detroit Road. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, December 27, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Coleman Church.

Friends, associates, and community members are anticipated to come together to pay tribute to Nancy Feighan’s life, contributions, and lasting influence on Lakewood and the broader area.
