PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Law enforcement is looking into a fatal shooting that took place at the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino, resulting in one death and one individual getting injured. The Prince George’s County Police confirmed the death in a statement shared on social media platforms.

As per those looking into the matter, two adult males were hit by gunfire during the event.


One of the victims was declared dead due to his injuries.

The other victim suffered a minor injury when a bullet grazed him and received medical treatment at the scene or at a nearby hospital.

According to police, the shooter left the scene right after the shooting and is still unidentified.

Currently, officials have not shared details regarding the events leading up to the shooting. Nevertheless, authorities pointed out that initial evidence indicates the shooting was not a random act of aggression.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials have yet to reveal the names of the victims or give a description of the suspect.
