With great sorrow, we reflect on and pay tribute to Justin Nance, a 42-year-old individual from Falls of Rough, whose life was unexpectedly cut short in a dual-vehicle accident in Breckinridge County. The abrupt loss of Justin has plunged his family, friends, and community into profound grief, as they grapple with the reality of losing someone far too soon.
As reported by the Kentucky State Police, officers arrived at the tragic scene on Monday afternoon around 5:00 p.m., close to the four-mile marker on Highway 79. Authorities found that the Hyundai Sonata, operated by Justin, had crossed over the center line and collided with a Jeep Patriot. Although emergency responders arrived quickly, Justin was declared dead at the site by personnel from the Breckinridge County Coroner’s Office.
The occupant of the Jeep, 41-year-old Daniella Wright of Louisville, was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital for medical attention. Her current health status has not been disclosed. The incident is still being looked into by KSP Post 4 accident reconstructionist Trooper Scott Wheatley.
Aside from the circumstances surrounding the accident, Justin Nance held various roles in life—son, friend, and cherished member of the Falls of Rough community.
