 The North Odessa neighborhood is mourning the tragic passing of Jessica Rodriguez, who was 39 years old, along with her two young children, a son aged 9 and a daughter aged 13. They were killed in a violent shooting that occurred on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the 87th Street Apartments. The Odessa Police Department has reported that a 15-year-old male has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder of Multiple Persons, and he is being held at the Ector County Youth Center. At the residence, he fatally shot her mother, Jessica Rodriguez, as well as her 9-year-old brother and 13-year-old sister.
