Jacqueline Korb Aurora, Indiana Car Crash: Remembering 38-Year-Old Jacqueline Korb who Passes Away in Heartbreaking Incident on Sunday Evening
A community is mourning an unspeakable tragedy following a deadly accident that claimed the life of 38-year-old Jacqueline Korb from Aurora, Indiana on the evening of December 7, 2025. What started as a calm Sunday evening transformed into a sorrowful moment that irrevocably altered the lives of her family, friends, and the entire Franklin County community.
Around 9:00 p.m., officers from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department arrived at a catastrophic scene at the crossroads of State Road 1 and Davis Road. There, inside a dark red Dodge Ram pickup, they found Jacqueline — a treasured daughter, friend, and valued member of her community — tragically lifeless in the driver's seat.
Initial reports illustrate a heartbreaking, nearly unfathomable scenario. While Jacqueline was heading south on State Road 1, a vehicle approaching from the north hit a deer. The collision propelled the deer into the air, crashing through the windshield of Jacqueline’s truck. The sudden and brutal nature of this event left her with no time to respond, resulting in her immediate death. She was confirmed dead at the scene.
Deputy Dakota Huntsman is overseeing the investigation into the crash, with assistance from the Blooming Grove Fire Department, the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, and Lett’s Fire & EMS. Their commitment in the wake of such sorrow provides a slight comfort to a community grappling with the abrupt loss of a dynamic and irreplaceable individual.
Yet, beyond the particulars of the incident — beyond the emergency lights, the documentation, and the investigators — is Jacqueline herself. A woman whose existence is deserving of remembrance with affection, empathy, and respect.

Jacqueline was renowned for her generous spirit, her inviting presence, and her ability to engage with authenticity and resilience. She had a gift for making others feel appreciated and included, whether through shared laughter, offering assistance, or simply being there during tough times. Those who knew her describe her as having a gentle aura — a person who illuminated the world merely by being present.
Her loved ones recall her as a fountain of joy, a reliable source of support in times of uncertainty, and a person who experienced profound love and lived genuinely. She had aspirations, ambitions, and a future that she should have experienced. Although her life ended far too early, the influence she wielded will persist, resonating through the lives she enriched.
The sudden and inconceivable loss of someone creates a type of sorrow that words can scarcely convey. It is a form of grief that unites communities in mourning, contemplation, and love. In this moment, Blooming Grove, Aurora, and all who had the privilege of knowing Jacqueline cherish her memory — celebrating the life she led rather than the tragedy that befell her.
This evening, and in the days yet to come, may those who cared for Jacqueline discover solace in their recollections, fortitude in their togetherness, and tranquility in recognizing that her spirit will continue to glow brightly in their hearts.
