Builth Wells Incident Update: Prioritizing Driver Safety Above Machinery

At approximately 4:00am today, one of our 660 trucks was involved in a severe vehicle accident in the Builth Wells region. The collision led to the truck and its trailer veering off the road before ending up on its side.

The specifics of the accident are currently under investigation; however, we deemed it vital to respond to the situation quickly and transparently, especially since images and details may spread rapidly on the internet.

First and foremost, our primary concern is for our driver, Mark. We are very relieved to report that Mark is unharmed. He received prompt attention from emergency responders at the scene and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

We have since learned that his injuries are not life-threatening and that a full recovery is anticipated. Although this incident was terrifying, the most critical aspect is that Mark is safe.

As a company, we wish to emphasize our priorities unequivocally. Vehicles are capable of being repaired or replaced — human lives are irreplaceable. A truck, irrespective of its worth, is merely metal, rubber, and plastic.

Our drivers, on the other hand, are invaluable. Mark's health is far more significant than any harm to equipment, schedules, or operations. His wellbeing, comfort, and recovery are what we prioritize at this moment.

We are providing this update now since we know that images and conjectures may start circulating on social media, which typically happens after such events.

In the absence of precise details, misconceptions can rapidly gain traction. By being open, we aim to stop misinformation and keep the attention on what truly matters — the safety of our driver and the professionalism of those who handled the situation.

Our foremost objective is to offer Mark comprehensive support. This includes maintaining close communication with medical teams, assisting his family, and ensuring his comfort and care.

With the holiday season approaching, we are making every effort to help Mark return home as soon as it is safe and appropriate. Being with his family during the festive season is incredibly vital, particularly after this challenging experience.

We sincerely appreciate the emergency services who attended the scene so promptly and professionally during the early morning hours. Their swift action and care made a substantial difference, and we are profoundly thankful for their dedication.

We also wish to express our gratitude to those who have already reached out with words of concern, support, and kindness. These messages are more meaningful than we can articulate and serve as a powerful reminder of the strong community that supports our team.
