Baillieston Deadly Stabbing: Unidentified Individual Passed Away, Authorities Shut Down Maxwell Street in Baillieston, Glasgow.

 A significant police operation has been initiated in Baillieston after an injured male was discovered on Maxwell Street on Friday night, leading law enforcement to shut down the road and advise the public to stay away.


Emergency personnel were summoned to the location around 5:50 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, after the individual was found close to the intersection of Whirlow Road and Main Street.

Authorities from Police Scotland have verified that Maxwell Street is still closed between Whirlow Road and Main Street as officers, emergency medical team members, and specialized units continue their efforts at the location.

A representative from Police Scotland stated: “Maxwell Street is closed at the intersection of Whirlow Road and Main Street in Baillieston due to a man being found injured at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025. A white cloth was observed covering the body near Diamond’s Kitchen while emergency crews navigated through the restricted zone. Additional medical vehicles were seen moving along the street towards Costa, emphasizing the magnitude of the situation.
