Miami, Florida — Popular YouTube prankster Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested in Miami on Saturday, November 15, 2025, after creating a dangerous situation on Washington Avenue, according to the Miami Beach Police Department.

Police reported that Doherty deliberately stepped into the middle of the road around 3:12 a.m. to film content for his social media channels, blocking traffic and ignoring police instructions. When officers asked him to leave, Doherty allegedly responded, “once I’m done with this bet”, and refused to move.

He was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance

  • Possession of marijuana

  • Resisting an officer without violence

According to the arrest documents, Doherty was found in possession of amphetamine. His bond was set at $3,500.

Jack Doherty is widely known for his prank and stunt videos, boasting over 15 million YouTube subscribers, 10 million TikTok followers, and 3 million Instagram followers. Hours before his arrest, he shared videos of himself on a yacht in Miami and livestreamed his night out on the app Parti.
